A must read for anyone interested in serious self-improvement, Covey in a very hands-on fashion shows how change is done - or done wrong.
Nice book, I always wanted to read it, but I guess I wasn't very effective with my reading time, isn't that ironic? :-)
The only thing I didn't like about the audiobook version is that it refers to a "companion guide" that Audible.com didn't add to the Abridged version, so I was blind on those chapters. I contacted support but they were not very helpful.
Did not feel this was his best effort.
Probably finished with Covey. Seems to have run out of material.
Disappointed based on previous presentations
20 minutes into the listening, I was bored. Seemed like stories I had already heard. Not inspirational at all.
I will be reading, or listening to this book over and over again. It is a fresh healing book full of modern day proverbs for business and all relationships and situations. A must read/ listen.
I have read the book twice in years past. Great to have the Audible version... as always, you see (hear) something in a different manner than when reading.
probably the time management, and the eighth habit.
I did like the musical intermissions.
Common sense, do it.
this would be the version to get. All those other reviews are junk in the trunk! His speaking voice is fine, the intermissions are fine, and it was just the right lengh. I would not want to get the full unabrigded version. This is the one to get. With the Eighth habit. Great Listen.
I have some self-help books, but I only read them and did nothing. This book is a little bit difficult for me as my poor English skill, but I am sure those theories (habits) the author stated are "true" and help me lot!
I try to do what he mentioned step by step.
