I hate it when books just end! What started as an exciting read ended so abruptly that I wondered if I had missed a part. Did Connelly need some quick money. Shame on him!
I've read pretty much every book he's written over the last 15 years. I've always found him an easy read, fun mystery fiction. Not on the level of Mankel, or Rankin. Until now. This is a very suspenseful book that also is quite touching and horrific in places. Very intense. I honestly think its his best book. The voice talent does a great job. If you like Connely, you cant go wrong with this one.
Been a long time fan of H. Bosch but this story is just preposterous. Very wooden writing and the worst narration I've encountered. Very disappointing.
Variety...the spice of life! I read a variety of genres. From historical fiction, to murder mystery, to vampires and on to teen fiction.
kept me on the edge of my seat. Contained some unexpected twists that added to the interest. Well worthwhile! I've loved all the Harry Bosch books and have loved seeing him grow as a character.

I really like Michael Connelly's work. This is not his best work but, still worth the read. I prefer his stuff when based here in America.
What can I say. great twisty story, grabs you from line one and keeps it coming. The only thing that could have made it better for me would be Dick Hill, but that's a personal preference. Len does a great job.

at times drawn out, at times kinda far fetched but, for the most part good plot twists, good ending and pretty good writing.
