I admit I'm a Smut Glutton, I prefer Male Narrators, Sexy Book Covers get me and I'm 32 years Happily Married.
Enjoyed the story but mostly the two narrators were beyond expectations. Excellent listen. Scouting for more books read by one or both. Even better to have bought book on sale last month!! Bonus Bonus...
I have a collection of earbuds to match my moods and audio genres. Today was red for romance, tomorrow purple for paranormal...
I loved About the Night and this was a disappointment. Narrators were over zealous.
I'm really not sure how I felt about this book. It seemed rather wordy at times and a little boring but over all I guess it was good. I liked Lily but I wasn't crazy about Swain's voice. He seemed kind of idiotic sometimes. I thought this was suppose to be a romantic/suspense but the two didn't even meet until about 48% of the book. Then there was a couple of kisses until about 75% then it was just like marathon sex. Not very romantic as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, Mr.Hill did a fantastic job on so many voices it was just amazing. I would definitely like to listen to him again. And Ms. Bean did an excellent job too. This is the first time I've listened to two narrators and I absolutely loved it.
This is the best book written by this author. Love the characters and the story!
Linda Howard is a great storyteller as always. Mostly thanks to whoever chose to have a male and female narrator. This makes the story so much more interesting.
Loved the characters, and although certain aspects are unbelievable, it shows what a person can accomplish when they are resourceful. I enjoyed how the story developed. As a female, I especially liked the voice and attitude of the male character.
