I downloaded "Breaking Dawn" in order to be able to listen to one of my favorite books while on one of my many road trips. I already owned "Eclipse" and was greatly disappointed by it, so I was nervous about spending my money on "Breaking Dawn". However, my friend convinced me to give it a try and, to my suprise, I REALLY enjoyed it. The narrator had improved her reading so much since "Eclipse", and the addition of a male narrator for Jacob's book made this a very enjoyable listen. I would recommend it to anyone.
Like another reviewer, I loved this book in particular, but the whole series. After I finished listening to it, I was sad that it was over. Stephenie Meyer does an excellent job creating a novel where the reader feels as if they know the characters. I was totally absorbed in the story. ?It is an excellent book and series!
For me, this was the best of the books. It was a very good ending. As with the other three, Ilyana (the reader for Bella) did a great job. Such a great series; so sad to have them end.
well, maybe not all sweet, but compared to Charlene Harris or L. Hamilton, sweet indeed. I read the first 2 several years ago and didn't even know the other 2 were out until my daughter wanted to check them out from the library.
I felt that this book really captured Bella's time to "shine". The previous books help to bring Bella into the mature protective place that she ends up in the end of this book. I was delighted to see this process finalize with such a strong ending.
I may be the only one it the world that feels this way but I did not like this book. It feels like she had to write this book but really did not have anymore story to put in the book. Also the superhero vampires were a bit much for me. I liked the first books in the series but this one was just not up to par with her earlier work.
