This series gets better with each book. Doesn't waste a lot of time going over previous books. The characters are building depth. Lorelei is gray fun and matches the story nicely
love love and more than love this series. it is exciting and keeps me wanting to listen nonstop!
This book is a memorable tale of one American Indian coyote with two heads of vampires. One in tri-cities and the other in Spokane. This with working on her relationship with Adam and his pack.
When Stephen came into her cell and rescued the child instead of he because she asked.?
When Mercedes woke up in bed with Adam and they evoked the pack and mate bonds to a horrible conclusion that took Samuel to SeR right.
Would you trust a vampire!
I love the Mercy Thompson world anf this one is amazing. Marcelias games, the monster of Spokan AND Adam makes Mercy Pack.
Maybe I'm weird but I keep thinking of the song Mary had a little lamb only changing the lyrics Mercy had a walking stick. It follows her everywhere
My wife got me reading Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series. At first I wasn't sure if it was a " guys" book. After getting into the first book, I wanted more. now I listen to them on audio while I drive my hour to work. Absolutely enjoyable to read and listen to.
Patricia Briggs has achieved with the Mercy Thompson series what Charlaine Harris achieved with the Sookie Stackhouse series - great paranormal porn - just a different species, werewolf porn.
This installment has Mercy’s college roommate showing up which now confirms that she is not only a strong, independent woman but also a well-educated auto mechanic.
In this segment Briggs tosses a ghost and a vampire or two with severe power struggles and now we have the mixings for a serious plot.
Mercy is not afraid to stand up for herself, and can also sit tight and roll with the punches. She shows fear, but doesn't let it hold her down, and she's not afraid to ask for help.
Great book and now on to the fifth installment, “Silver Borne”, which I am sure I will love as much as this one.
Exciting, romantic, addictive.
Mercy of course!
She gives life to the characters, and make them more....
A must see!
If you haven't listened to anything of Patricia Briggs yet, do it!
