Commuter! Vancouver to White Salmon 140 miles round trip, perfect place to listen to books on tape!
The number of characters was great. Victor really brings life to each and everyone of them. I was able to keep track simply by the way Victor reads the story.
Subject matter? Well I've always mystery stories, and I happened on Sandra Brown audio books just recently. But now I'm addicted to audiobooks and specifically Sandra Brown novels. Overall, I'm a diehard fan now that I found them read by Victor.
Great mix of characters and the author keeps us on our toes.
Wrong? Wow nothing was wrong! I could listen to this story a hundred times as long as Victor is doing the talking I listen.
Kept my attention the entire time. Loved the plot and all the twists and turns. The characters were very interesting and just when you thought you knew what was going on...you didn't. Performance was excellent and overall it was very enjoyable.
I thought the writer was a genius to have woven the story the way she did: stories from the past mixed in with people from the present and then tied together with characters in a book. I am trying not to give the story away. You will just have to read it. It was a great read and the narration was absolutely excellent.
The narrator's use of his voice to emphasize strategically.
My first audible book that I've listened fully to. The narrator along with the story line kept me hooked to listening.
No, I know the ending so it wouldn't be as exciting.
The scene between Parker Evans and Noah in the old mill at the end of the book
I love the narration of Victor Slezak, in fact I sometimes choose my books when I know he is the narrator.
Maybe when you learn of how Parker Evans ended up in a wheelchair
Enjoyed this book very much.
A less predictable story line, some character depth and perhaps an ending that was not so obvious
This was as soppy as Mills and Boon
Mispronunciation of words
I laughed out loud at some of the more ridiculous parts of this book.
Tell us about yourself!
Up there in the list this is the second time i have read this book so i truly enjoyed it.
i read it brfore
sandra brown has several books i have listened to that he has read
Loved this story and had to wait untill the public library got it in again. I bought it because i like listening to it again and again.
Yes, the story kept you guessing and waiting to see what was to happen.
No, this was the first. He was great. I am an avid Dick Hill fan and snob, but Slezak was great. I was happy to hear that there is another great male narrator who will do romance.
