Disclosure: This is not my genre. That said, I have enjoyed this series. The stories are well crafted. Everything seems to fit without being transparent. The characters are consistently drawn story to story. Throughout there is very little call for suspension of disbelief despite inherent unreality. George Guidall’s narration is better and adds to the quality of the series. I’ve given each 4 stars but would give the series 5. In short, these stories are great entertainment for very little effort on the part of the listener.
I couldn't stop listening. Can't wait to read the second book. And to think I had never even heard of the series.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I felt Mr Dean's voice was perfect to read the story. As a matter of fact, I liked it so much I bought all the books in the series.
Lots of killing and revenge, but a good thriller even so. Main character made of hero stuff, terrorists are typical, but good story.
His other books are much better. this one was a drag.
It must be the narrator. I was soooo bored. His voice totally sucks.. It just went on and on and on.. I have all of Alex Berendons books read by George Guidell and I LOVE them this really sucks.
No . I Hate it.. no expression at all.. always ending in a really monotonous tone.. ugh. :(
This could have been a good book, but just not enough in the story to grab my attention. Can do without the "F" words throughout the book.
I tried giving him a second chance, but stopped that book too.
