Slow going at first, but I really liked it. It made me try all over her books and she is now my top 10. I liked how this gave the behind the scenes of the book world. I am a lover of romance, and this was a good blend.
I definitely had a hard time getting through the beginning of this one and almost gave up several times. I'm so glad I stuck with it because I ending up loving it. Terry Donnelly is actually now one of my favorite narrators!
A cute story, engaging and funny. The adventures and misadventures of the three women keep the story moving. Lots of fun.
The narrator's interpretation of an American accent for Jojo, however, it rather irritating. She sounds incredibly like a 16 year old California mall rat, rather than an international business woman.
I really enjoyed this book. The narrator did a wonderful job. It was a little slow in the beginning but once I got into the story I didn't want it to end. I also enjoyed the insight into world of publishing.
As the previous reviewer stated the story started out a bit whiny and shrill, but after I got past that I just loved this book about 3 women whose lives were entertwined. Throughly enjoyable and desciptive story of their inner lives, loves and families. I was sad to reach the end and listened to it a second time.
The story itself was lighthearted and fun but the narration was annoying. The narrator was inconsistent with her various accents and did a very bad Irish accent. It was distracting.
this is not one of Marian Keyes best but still enjoyable. i found the story funny but quite unrealistic most of the time. easy read. great for the beach.
It starts slow and kind of depressing with the whole mom leaving the dad storyline but then luckily switches to the JoJo storyline to keep you interested. By the time it got the Lily story, I was in love!
What a treat! This book was full of characters I would love to meet in real life and the story was intriguing because of a little mystery in the beginning. I laughed out loud, shed some tears, I will look for books by Keyes in the future and give a big round of applause to the narrator. Great work!
