This was a very predictable story, but it was just a lovely story and romance. I loved the characters.
Yes, but only as a ligt read nothing extrodinary.
I really enjoy her style, her accents etc I have read/ listened to a few of her books now and look for books she has narrated.
yes, I read it all in 2 sittings, loved it.
I've heard most of Susan Elizabeth Phillips' books and just loved them. This one however lacked a little in the story. It is a good read, just different than her others.
I was hesitant to buy this due to other reviews, but love SEP so I thought I would take a chance. SEP did a beautiful job again. The main character, an uptight and control freak meets bad boy hunk and finds a relationship that works for them..Sounds corny and that is why I waited to buy this; but, through SEPs description and wit they won a place in my heart. SEPs ability to explore/describe human frailities with humor and realistic accuracy continues to make her my favorite author and this a purely FUN BOOK!
Say something about yourself!
Based on the many disappointing reviews, I pondered this purchase for quite a while. I expected only a fair SEP book. What I heard was a great book. It's one I'll be listening to again.
I was not able to finish this book. The plot was lame, the characters were unlikeable and cliche and the sex scenes made me cringe they were so badly written. Sorry. I tried to like them. I hate to give anyone a bad rating, but I just did not like this book.
I am a middle school reading teacher who loves to show students the wonder and joy of reading.
I thought this was a fun story. I love this writer and the narrator is my favorite. A very enjoyable tale.
This book was awesome. I really felt like I was in Italy experiencing the joys and sorrows and feelings of the characters. The sex "scenes" were hot yet tastefully presented.
