I was totally disappointed with the depravity and sexual deviant story line of this book.
I have only gotten through a couple chapters of this book and cannot go any further. Oz was not like this.
Don't waist your money
The narrator, John McDonough, did a wonderful job of capturing Oz and its inhabitants.
I enjoyed the curious and enigmatic nature of Elphaba, the main character, and the fact that even though elements of the story are familiar, they are also surprising and new in this story.
Nanny. Hands down.
I absolutely could not get in to this weird hobbit-ish story. I had to stop with the bizarre puppet sex show.
This story was suprisingly disturbing and disgusting! It needs a warning for language and for the graphic sex. A great WASTE OF MONEY!!!
This might be a better read than a listen. It was a fascinating idea, but just wasn't all that good in the end.
I had high hopes for this book, and did find it mildly entertaining. It is well-written and offers some fun and interesting "clues" that might explain how the wicked witch became wicked. However, I don't feel her character is fully -- or believably -- developed. It's a fun read, but I was disappointed overall.
