AN ACTUAL STORY to go along with the unrealistic amount of sex sex sex..
I was disappointed as there was no true story line. At least not one that was worth listening to. I feel I wasted a credit. I enjoyed his book choir director and even with the sex in it, it had a story to tell. This is basically just a bunch of sex w/ no real story. 2 thumbs down and I need Carl Weber to give me a credit back,
Hi my name is Bianca and I am a avid reader. I love all types of genres and read all the time. I am a book worm and always will be one.
The most memorable moment to me is when Nicky found out that Keith was really a woman.
The narrators bring real life drama.
The most memorable character to me was Keith because I was surprised to find out that he was really Karen instead of Keith. That was creepy.
I've been an avid reader since I was a child. I love different types of writing styles and I am never afraid to try new authors.
This was a good book to listen to and I had a hard time putting this book down. With that said some of the narrators were hard to listen to because I could hear every time they swallowed which was worse toward the end of the book and pretty annoying. I do wish the end had wrapped up the characters better. I felt like I had to think back a few chapters to figure out how everyone's story wrapped up. The book ended pretty abruptly.
I loved both.
I love those reading the book & the storyline.
YES, I couldn't put this book down. I really enjoyed pulling out my book & followed the reading of the narrator.
This book was GREAT.
The women were very immature and insecure and act like they never have sex before. This book was so messy. With all the junk going on he could have written 3 books
Yes, I've read a few of his books and enjoyed them.
Narration was great
This book was sad to me because the women just could not get there act together
To much sex and not enough knowledge
I was a little disappointed in the strong language but I overall liked the book. I liked the way the characters were read by different people which made it easier to follow. Not exactly what I expected for "Big Girls" but I'll definitely move on to Big Girls Do Cry. I have it as a eBook but will do the audiobook instead.
This audiobook had me not wanting to get out of my car once I got to my destination. Some of the characters were straight ruthless and all about self but it's the drama that keeps you coming back for more. Loved, loved, loved the fact that the women were plus-sized; however, carried themselves with confidence and believed themselves to be big, beautiful and sexy. It was a nice change to know that the main characters didn't have to be model thin to be sought after by gorgeous, sexy and successful men and were successful themselves. I would definitely listen to this again and again!
Say something about yourself!
I kept passing this book up and one day I just decided to give it a try and can I say wow. The narrartors had trouble with the character of Tammy she kept doing unessary swolles which started getting on my nerves a bit. I give this audio thumbs up. I will purchase Big girls don't cry.
I may not be a sista- but I have always been a plus size girl that didn't let that stop me from glamming myself up with cute clothes, makeup and hair...and hot men. I was still able to relate to this book in every other way. If you are easily offended by profanity or open (I mean REALLY open) talk about sex, then this is not the book for you. But I think and talk as much about sex as your average man, so I was pleasently surprised to find that this author doesn't hold ANYTHING back....drama and twists to the story mixed with passionate love making and back stabbing....but true sincerity from believable, relatable characters kept me wanting more and more....the narrators were halarious and entertaining, just like actors in a movie!
