I read/listen. Constantly. While the hands are busy, it is an esstenial that the mind be as well.
I've never read any of Kathy Reichs books before and this one looked interesting. However I've figured out 'mystery' shortly after it was revealed. Good narrator, not very engaging.
As always Temperance is in deep death trouble and works out all the complex Bones Really exciting novel, that can go only where Tempe goes, into trouble .
The book was in character for this entire series. Kathy Reichs does a nice job-this was not as well done as the early books. It still kept my attention.

Although I enjoyed the story, I felt the author used the book to lecture on science...while interesting, it was not the action I like to find in a suspense thriller.
I expected much more from this book. I am a bit of a writing snob but this author is subpar. It seems like she googled a few topic and cut and pasted them into a text. It's just boring to listen to and the characters are not compelling. It probably deserves three stars but I couldn't even listen to the last 2 hours. S
The author needs to learn to tell a story without wandering into long descriptions of the character's love life, the members of her ex-husband's family, and what's in the refrigerator. This book was annoying.
