Cannot be compared with any other book. In a class of its own.
This book was the most like a non-Harlequin story among the Megan Hart works I've downloaded. The sex was sometimes a bit gratuitous but mostly it enhanced the plot. Filled with details of the main character's mostly ordinary life. The plot was pretty much completely unbelievable but it was nevertheless entertaining. Smoothly crafted listen with a most excellent narrator.
It was very real in the conflicts and pleasures of such an affair
the characters were very believable
Any time a relationship becomes a triangle it has potential for heat. It may warm us or burn us, you never know. This book exposed all parts of such triangular relationships. Well done.
British and addicted to Audible! Hoping my review helps you spend or keep your credits!
Oh Heck I don't know.
When I first read this I had NEVER come across anything qute like it. Now there a few books coving the same subject (Falke's Peak, Falke's Captive or Decadent: Wicked Lovers Series, Book 2) matter but not like Ms Hart who seems to tap into the emotional problems and difficulties that a menage surley would dredge up.
One other from the Hell's Eight series Caine's Reckoning, equally good narration.
I started downloading from Audible because I was having trouble sleeping that was 2 years ago. This was the first Megan Hart story and my first download. I loved it, there are some lovely steamy scences and great characters.
Like others here say, there was too much of the extended family. it was depressing and I found myself just waiting to get back to the main story. Sex scenes were hot.
I'm a grad student with very little time to edit reviews because I'm editing research papers. Forgive the typos. They're made with love.
This book is a pure erotic story of a woman caught between her husband and his friend, when the husband says okay and there might be something else there too.
Despite reading the reviews, and knowing what "kind" of book this was, I was stunned by the graphic content! But, I kept listening. I did not want to stop! The "graphic" scenes were hot and well told. The story, and how it came together through the end was amazing! I was turned off by the relationship unfolding at first, but I quickly got over it and it seemed to make perfect sense. The only thing that I HATED about this book is that it ended! I could have listened and listened and listened! Great author and great narrator!
Seldom does a book or story leave me feeling "ugh" - but this one did. Poorly developed characters, lack of believable plot (as in too much going on to develop each thoroughly and tie it in to the story), and the ending is simply "UGH".
After reading Deeper - I was leery about how the story would go as Deeper left me very sad. Hart's stories are a lot like Nicholas Sparks - his storylines have real tragedy. The ending was much better than Deeper. I will continue to read Hart, where I won't read Sparks anymore. When I look to romance I prefer stories that have less sad. Worth the time. I plan on getting Naked next month.
all these reviews are true. this has a real story - it's interesting and involving. not too much to be something you can't listen to. better than few others i've heard.
