This book was like a fantasy! The characters were good and each had a little depth about them
which kept it interesting and the sex scenes were great! Althought there was a little of life's
true problems, I just kept thinking light. Isn't this why we listen to these books while doing boring housework!! Loved the narrator too! I would listen to her again. I listened to the book
in 2 days!!!
Really loved this story! I downloaded it expecting a kind of Penthouse sort of thing, but ended up entranced with the story of Ann, her men and her sisters. Very erotic love scenes really iced the cake!
I loved the story!!! You really feel for Ann. She doesn't really know what she wants until she gets it. It's a very sexy story of how relationships evolve and change. And how these changes can question your very existence. The author's characters are deep and likable. Alex and James (the good guy and the rascal) are the kind of men almost all women desire.
Another great book by the author. It's must read for all romance/erotica fans!!!
I'm a retired graphics designer. My business was designing and laying out books for small independent publishers and preparing them for print. Now I spend my time working in my garage wood working shop building furniture while trying to get my 'honey-do' list down to a manageable size.
My daughter reads a lot... a whole lot. I once asked her if she liked reading Romance novels. She replied "no" and explained that she really liked a 'good well written book that locks you in". She felt this was hard to find in the romance genre. Although I've personally found a few romance books that I liked, I fully understood her complaint.
Well I think "Tempted" would definitely challenge her reasoning. It's a very well written story with an intriguing plot line, great character development, strong emotional engagement and hot sex. I tend to guess how the story will end or what the next step will be, but I was wrong at each attempt with this book.
Male readers. Female readers. It doesn't matter. There's something here for everyone.
I haven't "read" a book since 1998, just not interested....after the 50 Shades Trilogy, I have become an audio book addict! I am a very tough critic.
The story looked intriguing based on the reviews and editorial about the book, however, it was so slow! So much about what was going on in her head and not enough story if you ask me.
I enjoyed "Tempted". However, it did not meet my usual expectations for Megan Hart's stories. The characters were not as well developed, the story was a bit shallow. I do enjoy anything written by Ms. Hart and this was no exception.
I enjoyed the read, and it was quite erotic. My only real issues were that the author never convinced me of the characters' motivations. This is especially true of Anne, the main character. Often their choices seemed manufactured by the author instead of true to the character. And the characters too-often confuse love and lust in major life-decisions. The book was fun and sexy, and the narrator was very, very good.
This was exactly what i was hoping it would be... A great story... The sex scenes were not just steamy, the descriptions were beautifully written and read. This book is definitely intense. It's going to be hard to follow this one.
A reviewer at Guilty Indulgence Review Site. I don't go anywhere without a book -ebook or audiobook- and I always have an opinion to share.
Take one of Megan Hart's unique story lines, add in extra heat and sexual tension and have it all read in Zoe Winslow's seductive voice and you have a steamy combination. I enjoyed this story - the most unique menage story of all times - and recommend it to others who enjoy truly sensual romance.
Fantastic read, kept my attention so well I would sit in my car before work right up to the last minute just so I wouldn't be left hanging. Love scenes of course were wonderful, the characters were relatable, the feelings true and left me, the reader, questioning my own morals and asking....what would I do in that situation. Glad I saw the preview for 'Naked' so I could continue, even in a different sense...great follow-up for anyone that wants to know what happens after Alex leaves.
