I will share this book with everyone. It was highly inspiring, and fairly well written for someone whose first language is not English. The audio was excellent! I wouldn't have enjoyed it near as much without the audio with accents. Can't say enough about this book!
This is an incredible journey of faith, hope trust in God.
It teaches us that God is with us every moment of our lives.
How do we worry about such little things.
How did the rest of the world not help them and why we didn't do our part to pray for them.
It should give us clear direction on our role in the world. We should pray daily for Peace with all nations and all races.
Prayer has infinite value.
Story of hope so eloquently written. Very powerful.
I hope to meet Immacule some day.
God bless her and all she does. Thank you
Catholic, educator, and whole 30. I like big books
Such a powerful real story. My students were transformed and changed by this book but, truly more by the audible version.
Not that I am aware
Yes, I did personally. In class, my students NEVER wanted me to stop.
I have listened to many audible books and this by far is absolutely the best narration I have ever heard. The narrator brings the story to life and doesn't outstanding job of voicing all of the characters. Her re-create shin of the accents and of the emotion of each of the people in the story is unmatched. The story itself is almost too evil and cruel to believe but sadly it is. There's so much hope and healing in this story. Well well worth reading!
A good listen makes for an amazing day!
The storyline was amazing and true. It left the reader wanting more and captivated by the chilling scene in Rwanda.
The inspirational message of "all we have to give in this life is love" even the darkest of times.
This is the first one.
Yes, it definitely made me want to listen in one setting.
Get this book! You will not regret it. It's a harrowing tale of survival in the darkest of times in the Rwandan Holocaust.
An incredible story well told. The detailed description transports you to the scene. It is so hard to believe this happens. once in a while we must get out of our own bubble to see what other's must go through and how easy we take our life and our freedom for granted.
Inspiring! Awesome uplifting read. Hard at times because it really happened and does happen. Yet it is a great reminder that God does exist, as well as Satin. We can do and are capable of doing so much and doing so much good when we try to look to God... and just try.
