I have read a number of her books and after a while they become boring.
Her performance was fine.
Would definitly listen again&again
Luv them all
Any read by feehan expect to be amazed awed and totally hooked
Believer in what you can't see
Joie's discovery of Traian. I also like Joie's independence and strength. I also like how close Joie and her sister(Gabrielle) and brother (Jubal) are. Some parts are very funny.
Dark Desire and Dark Melody. Both heroines love their lifemate from the beginning and aren't afraid of becoming a Carpathian. The woman are strong, determine and loving. Also, the heros are considerate, loving and are always there for their lifemate.
Excellent narration of the characters, she put feeling into the characters and plot.
A Diary with a secret
Definitely my favorite Feehan listening experience so far. Having suffered through some painful narrations of Christine Feehan's wonderful books, it was a relief and delight hearing Natalie Gold read this story. The characters' voices fit the contemporary setting, the action scenes kept me riveted; and (since this is a novella) it was over much too soon for me.
Dark Descent is a captivating, tension-filled love story, and a completely satisfying read.
Great series addition
As is usual with the Dark Series I find myself deeply involved with all the characters
I only wish that I could have done it in one sitting
Love to read and listen to books.
I would try another book from Feehan--did not like Gold's voice for narrator as male character.
Carpathian captured by vampires.
Female-someone more sultry
have fallen in love with the characters of this series. I know many have had bad things to say but I love all of them so far.
This book was slightly different from the others but just as good. It's a shame it ended so quickly. I expected the story to go on and I am hoping that it will pick up in the next one.
ok. i enjoyed the storyline and the characters. unfortunately it felt rushed... i read the book after listening to it, and it felt rushed there as well. i'm reading/listening to the series out of order, so i enjoy that some of the characters keep coming up. Feehan will hopefully have a follow-up to resolve all the loose, but very interesting, loose ends...
I love the magical world of CF, but struggle with the submissive women. Finally a strong woman in Joie, but the book felt rushed and was much too short. And Traian was left with a vampire shadow that was totally un-resolved, and the Wizard treasure un-explored.... Really a frustrating read!
