Lots of behind the scenes of the best band in the history of music !!!
Any fan of Gene Simmons and KISS will really like this !
It's kinda low on my List. Though Kiss is a favorite band of mine.
Emotional Peter Criss had to be my favorite. Who would have thought this band so disfunctional.
I liked alot of the stories, this book if full of stuff. Good or bad it's very entertaining.
Gene's early life in Isreal and his coming to America.
Gene could have used some counceling earlier on in his life. I do like his go get it attitude.
Because I know how hard Gene Simmons worked to gain the fame he has, I was interested in hearing the progression the band took. I found Gene's voice to be irritatingly monotone, he was obviously reading his own book. There was hardly any emotion in it. And he never forgot to tell the listener how many women he had, which after a few hundred times, got really old. Honestly, if you're interested, like I was, read a paperback of this book.
As a Kiss fan I eat up most anything about the band. I can sum this book up in one sentence. This is the story of Kiss from Gene Simmons Perspective.
Gene's tongue delivers
Reminds me a bit of "Hell's Angels" by Hunter S. Thompson. Only not. At all.
Never listened to anything else by him.
