Enjoyed the book and unlike some fellow Audible readers who feel they need to spoil it for others, I won't comment on its ending. "Hint-hint" spoiling a book's ending for others is a the very least inconsiderate. Sorry, I had to get that bit of "venting" out my system.
Sandra Brown always presents a great story and Victor Selzak is an excellent narrator. I wanted to rush to find out how it ended but didn't want to miss anything by doing that.
my only complaint is with how Audible divided the book. Three and four chapters were lumped together, making it hard to find a good spot to end before going to bed.
Again this author kept me wanting more. The storyline was one of a kind. It kept me believing one way about the main character, and at the very end of the book there is an unexpected enlightenment about him. The cop was a dirty and crooked from the beginning,
Audiobook addict by now. ~ I love romances: historicals, suspense and stories about men who loves men (M/M).
This was just my second Sandra Brown but I'm as impressed as after the first ('Envy'). This is very good audiobooks entertainment. Great narrator and a well written thrilling exiting story. I enjoyed every minute of these 13:30 hrs I listened these two days. Impossible to turn off...
Sassy dialogue, humor, and a great reader are important to me.
Victor Slezak is the best reader for SB books, but he is not inexpensive, but worth every penny. I own ALL of his SB reads. Do NOT miss out on his talented reads.
You'll get caught.
This story could be a life lesson to many star athletes, corporate executives, anyone in power who are arrogant enough to think they are invincible.
Victor has a very expressive tone to his voice. He kept my attention throughout the book. Sometimes when reading, my mind tends to wonder about place described. With a great narrator, like Victor, they bring the story to life.
"You are not bullet proof"
Sandra Brown's novels never disappoint.
