new to Audible world!!
I would definitely listen to this book over and over again.....I am in love with this book
Why - because this book is very very motivating!!! (DUH!!! :P)
n/a - one book cannot be compared to another!
Absolutely - loved it!
hmmmm...- let me try it first for 21 days :)
I have heard about this book on many occasions over the years. Many writers I like have told that it is a book they have read. Now I have listened to it and I didn't enjoy at all.
Very short, if you haven't read any other self management book or anything similar to it, i might work for you. But for me, it was very shallow and there was nothing new at all. It is a nice idea to make it into a story or fable and not just an instruction manual but I don't think it works.
The narrator does a good job but I would recommend anyone to listen to another book. There are plenty.
Simplistic and transparent self help book in the style of Zen and the Art of [name your pick] with a catchy name.
Another Great Day at Sea, by Geoff Dyer
It has nothing to do with who the narrator was
It has nothing to do with the character, just the topic
I have joined audible to replace my junk filled brain with motivational/historical and influencial downloads! So excited to expand!
Robin Sharma is well known for motivating people and this book is a great way to teach through an uplifting story. The journey of a sucsessful lawyer to a enlightened monk. Great advice on daily habits and overall mind development. Would recomend this book to anyone who is looking to improve their mind! I would and will read this book again and again when i need better prospective on life.
He is passionate, humorous and deep in his tones. You can tell he is in the business of caring for others and not monitary gain.
Being a professional sales consultant I am constantly tryng to find balance between my work ambitions and family life. This book has taught me to step back and look inside myself. Find value in simplicity; balance and potential. Great motivational book, I would recomend it to anyone.
Read and be moved.
The narrator is an amaetuer because the way he says "Ferrari" correctly and its quite annoying. He sounds like a kid out of college who is good at reading out-loud and needed some extra cash. Next time hire a professional actor who can tell the story, not just read it and make it engaging rather than it being quite irritating.
If he didn't sound like a college boy from Detroit would of been nice. Next time hire someone a little more sophisticated,
In the story there are steps defined to practice. It is not just the concept there is a practicle steps to achieve the goal.
I will be have a quite time for me and do meditation, I think thats the first step.
I like Robin Sharma, this book just did not live up to the hype,
I have and I will.
I have listened to it numerous times already because you can't take in all the great principles in one sitting
Think and grow rich because they both give you things to change internally to become the best person that you can be.
the part about Kaizen - good change
Mastering the thoughts of the mind, making it your slave instead of your master, through meditation, and positive thinking
This is a great addition to your library! If you apply even a few of the principles you will become a better person.
This audio book explains that there is more to life than money for those on the fast lane. The narrative style is appealing. Unfortunately it is an abridged version
Yup, the nectar of spiritualism should be opened to all
Lesterlevenson sedona methoud
Nothing much reading. Could have been better
Optimistic. Attitude. Even at the depth of negetivity like the lady after the school was burnt down thinking postivily of building a great after her only school was burnt into ashes. And the pouring into cup that's full
Great book all should enjoy
