I can't get enough of the shadowhunters and each scene and plot twist kept me at the edge of my seat. I officially wish I was a shadowhunter myself!!
I am gonna finish The Mortal Instruments Series only because I don't like not finishing things.
No just from the author and narrator
Different narrator without valley girl nasally voice
Theme/Story is good the writing is not
I wish the author would have moved past the previous assumptions of Jace's parentage and let Claire and Jace find happiness in each other while the rest of the world crumbles instead of making Jace constantly pushing claire away and Claire pushing Jace away for the entire series thus far. Their relationship should have been a constant in this series not in a sad destructive annoying constant but a constant breathe of fresh air in the midst of a world full of downworlders demons and shadowhunters.
Great story line!
I liked the ending the best!
The whole Clary and Jace situation.
I listened to book 1-3 and fell in love!!! I hate reading big books, but these were amazingly done.
Now, starting in book 4, the rest of the series is done by a different narrator? Do they get any better? I don't know if I should just return this and just read the rest of the series.
I love all the supernatural love stories. Vampires stories are my favorites.
Less descriptions of stuff around them. I fast forwarded through mos of the book. as soon as it started describing a room or the trees or someones face I have heard more than once I hit the Fast forward 30 secs till it was over and dang if sometimes it was almost 3 mins of describing a hall way or something. But the plot was good enough for me to keep listening.
Moore did an excellent job of narrating. The characters came to life. I've enjoyed reading this series and wanted to hear it come to life and Moore made that happen for me.
