I have loved this tale since I was in school, and the narration is quite good. However, the story description is pretty inaccurate. It claims plot points that are completely wrong, and in some cases the opposite of the true story.
this is one of the books i grew up on (i had the harper hall of pern book the 3 combined into one) it still sparks the imagionation and draws you into pern.
It was difficult to hear her pronounce the "s" in the word "she".
Either the recording quality is a copy of a copy of the settings for transferring the data to this format was not correct.
When she spoke in multiple character voices the quality was so much better.
This second book in the Harper Hall trilogy is a satisfying continuation of Menolly's story. A fun one to listen to.
