I love these guys like Canfield who put out all this great stuff like it is their own while they "steal" everything they use from others. Dale Carnegie was writing this in 1936 and his organization is still teaching it. Give Canfield credit, tho, for changing the words around and using a few different and contemporary stories to give the advice emphasis and don't let this diminish the message as it is a good one for each generation that comes along. It was good 70 years ago and remains just as powerful today. Good book!
I also own the printed copy with all the principles. Jack does a great job in focusing on the key ones for the audio version. His reading voice is soothing and inspiring. I have recommended this book to many others who have also enjoyed it greatly. I think everyone should listen to this book.
I purchased the audio book. The exercises are good and the presentation is clear and direct. There is plenty of humor to keep it light and the overall content is both practical and insightful. An excellent "overview" book and the ideas and concepts are immediately useful. If you are looking for a follow up to "The Secret", this is not it, but the book and Mr. Canfield are both excellent and the information will help in everyday life and business.
This is one of the best success books ever. You can listen to it over and over and learn something new every time. I liked it so much I bought the paperback for my library to use as a study aide.
I've just been turned on to this "Chicken Soup Guru" recently and I must admit the soup is working. Driving in my car, fighting LA traffic isn't necessarily the best way to listen to a book on tape, but I do feel some of his wisdom stuck. Just today I said to a friend, who I'm working on a project with; let's do five things today that will get us to our goal. We did...and tomorrow I'll do five more.
This information may not be new to some, but it is put out in a way that only Mr. Canfield can do. It should be titled chicken soup for the successful soul. The first chapter WILL be worth it, if nothing else. You were drawn to this book for a reason, buy it and find out why.
This particular audio program I purchased by "accident" turns out to be one of the best investments I ever made. A great launchpad for getting lift off with success.
Jack Canfield has always been a favorite since the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series and I was quite surprised to find him authoring a title like this one. “The Success Principles” is not bad and it might just be what you are looking for. It does follow a kind of general knowledge of success but has a few original ideas as well. I would defiantly recommend purchasing and it and you must listen a few times to make sure you get it all in. Enjoy
Simplified, straight-forward and uplifting laws of life - that's what Jack Canfield has presented to us, the reader/listener, through this incredible book. A great first step for anyone looking to make major change in their life, but also a great stop along the way for those who are already achieving great things.
