CAN'T wait for the next instalment. I enjoy the characters... They are so engaging and easy love I feel as if they are family and I'm reading their daily activities.
This whole Patterson series so far has been amazing! Did it meet my expectation. " in spades!" I am not crazy about the narrator, but it never bothers me enough to lessen the quality of the books. She can't vary her voice enough to create various characters. I find all of her voices to feminine to be a male character. Some narrators do this much better, in my opinion.
Still the storyline is over the top good and makes this book well worth the purchase price as with all of James Patterson's series Women's Murder Club. Does not disappoint! It amazes me how well Mr. Patterson knows the female mind and brings his characters to life.
Yes, keeps you listening for more. GOOD BOOK
All the main characters are well done. Conklin I think is a star in the rough. Can't wait for more of him.
The end was not expected.
I have never read James Patterson, but had high expectations given his success and popularity. This is a poorly written story, and not interesting to me at all. The only thing good about it was the narrator who did a good job.
Reading allows me to travel through time, to visit the world's unique and stunning places, to become somebody I am not... It is glorious.
I enjoy the Women's Murder Club series. I feel as though I would like to know these women in real life. Mr Patterson writes them with some realism though I would like him to delve into their flaws more; I would like them even better if he let me see their mistakes and failures.
The stories are driven by the plot lines more than the characters, and it works because the crimes are usually intricate, murky and complex. This novel fits the mold well. And though I feel his writing style is a bit formulaic it isn't so off-putting as to make me stop reading the series.
It is an entertaining story presented by a talented reader.
Most of the series.
Can't say, I don't have that kind of time.
I would not listen to it again. There is no compelling reason to listen again.
The ending of the book was had a great plot twist.
The narrator just does not have the ability to clearly differentiate vocally between the characters. At times, I found it difficult to follow who was talking during a conversation.
