It is an entertaining story presented by a talented reader.
Most of the series.
Can't say, I don't have that kind of time.
I would not listen to it again. There is no compelling reason to listen again.
The ending of the book was had a great plot twist.
The narrator just does not have the ability to clearly differentiate vocally between the characters. At times, I found it difficult to follow who was talking during a conversation.
another great book in the Women's Murder Club series; can't wait to read the next one; great narration also
Though James Patterson is one of my favorite authors, this book was not as good as they usually are. The investigation was not complete and in that he missed the opportunity to enrich the story. I wasn't satified by the ending or the general writing.
Though the book wasn't really bad, it's not the kind that would get you hooked on Patterson books, so if it is your first I'd suggest you keep trying. They get better.
I love the Women's Murder Club series and this book was no exception. It kept my mind so occupied on my daily walks at noon that I cheated and wound up listening to it in the car on my way home, as well.
Daily commuter relying on Audible to keep awake. I need excitement! If something crazy doesn't happen in the first 20 mins I'm done!
I really like this series and was so disappointed when the TV adaptation was taken off because of the writers strike. If you like the other Womens Murder Mystery stories - you will like this one too.
Audio Book Fiend
Overall, this book was ok, but I had a few problems with this episode in the series. The first problem I had was that the narrator, while having a great voice, speaks with pauses in the most inappropriate places, often reading a little too slow. And the changes in voices for the characters gets a bit distracting at times. The other problem is that between the writing and the narration caused some over-exaggerated moments that literally made me roll my eyes and laugh. The many hyperboles were just ridiculous since you know that they will be repeated in the next installment. One thing that remains good in the book is the friendship between the Women's Murder Club members.
