This book is a great continuation of the first. It does very well to illustrate the feeling of an occupied state. I enjoyed everything up to and including the final battle. That, in its own right, was an experience.
Weeks has spun a masterwork out of the multiple threads started in book one.
This second part not only bridges the gap between one and three but tells compelling stories all its own.
My single issue is the pronunciation of some words as I heard the Graphic Audio versions first. I'm not sure which are the correct versions.
loved the story not a romance fan it seems like it was shoved in there painfully. That was the only unfortunate thing about the book the rest I loved!
The story flows, never boring. Excellent series to read or to listen.
Listening to series and so glad of the length of them. Paul Boehmer brings the story to life with such emotion I can see everything that's happening.
I've read this series years ago so listening to it now audibly its hard to turn off. Beginning last in series and just don't want it to end.
