The plot was full of twists which I enjoyed but the chemistry between the group of women seemed forced. I felt the Narrator did a terrible job and will not download any other books in this series because of her.
She did a great job with the
I did cry often..and laugh
Enjoyed it very much
I have a part time job cleaning and really it passes the time being able to listen to the books while I clean
I liked the main character, but I also liked Claire the medical examiner as well as the reporter
When the main characters love was shot at the end
didn't read it,
the way it kept me thinking I knew what was going to happen next
A womans voice
when one of the characters died.
just when i thought I knew what was going to happen, it changed
I can't find time to sit and read.
That it shows women as strong.
Yes couldn't wate to get back to the book.
This brought me back to reading. Thanks
Ranks in the top 10.
It is hard to choose a favorite they are all really good.
When the girls get together to discuss the different clues that each have come up with.
Neither, but I was sad when Raleigh died, they made a good pair. I loved they way they had his family include Lindsay.
The murder investigation has a number of twists and turns which adds to the intrigue
She is a believable murder detective
Good read. Would listen to it again.
Yes, Suspenseful. Just when you thought who done it, wham a new clues comes up and your theory is wrong,
How the girls became friends
She tried. Too many characters for her
I had high hopes for this one! Story: Pretty darn good; seemed a bit predictable, esp. when detective zeroed in on prime suspect, but somewhat surprised in the end.
Too much DRAMA packed into the story! Didn't need to put WEIGHT of the WORLD on one character and the BIGGEST PROFESSIONAL BLUNDER OF ALL TIME on another to make it worth a listen/read.
The CHARACTERS are very INTERESTING and mostly realistic.
The READER was NOT GREAT I would have given her a "1" due to her melodramatic and over-the-top readings of some scenes and--even worse--her ridiculous voice characterizations! (If I were a black woman, I would be seriously offended.) Still, she DID have good pacing and mostly good understanding of the nuances she was reading.
I'm willing to try one more in this series--but ONLY one.
