The narrator had a strange intonation at the end of most of her sentences when she was talking to herself. It didn't occur in the previous books. Made it hard to love this
book.

This is another great book in a fun series - don't try to read them out of order - it will just confuse you. But DO read them if you like funky, fun mysteries with great characters.

The story is very good BUT the reader is not; which is why I cannot give this a higher rating. A different narrator could make this fun mystery a five.

Sophie always cracks me up with her sarcasm and drama. This story made me wonder and laugh at the same time. And Mr. Cats is great, too.

I enjoy light reading - a heroine with redeeming traits despite her faults, an intriguing mystery to follow, additional characters to provide lightness and humor. Unfortunately, this book tried and failed on all fronts. The main character is especially disappointing, she is simply a spoiled woman with no reason to forgive the annoying attitude, no reason to believe that she deserves the guy in the end and no reason to believe that she deserves the credit for the solution of the mystery.

To the right people I'd recommend this book.

She did an amazing job. I loved listening to her.

No, because I wanted to slap the main char a few times over for being so self absorbed. It frustrated me.

I loved the plot line, loved the little side plots too but for me, if I could, I'd bonk the main char over the head just to give her a reality check! The book had me cursing a few times but if that was what the Author was going for, the reader cursing out the main char, then she got me good!

It should be about the same as reading it. After all, it is unabridged.

I have enjoyed all the Kyra Davis series. A little humor, a little love, and some mystery. All ways a good listening pleasure.

I listened to this book while driving to work. It was an easy very enjoyable listen. Kyra Davis writes engaging and entertaining characters and Gabra Zackman does a fantastic job bringing them to life. I don't really have a favorite character, I find I like them all, Sophie, Anatoly, Marcus, Deena, and the list goes on...
Thanks to Kyra and Gabra for making my long commute enjoyable.
I"m putting off listening to book 5 till I know book 6 is available...I want to know I have one in the wings waiting!!
