I was hoping that my first audio book would be a good one. Both the narrator and story kept me interested the entire time and wanting more. I almost wanted to sit in more traffic while listening to it. I loved it. As others said though, there was no transition between some scenes but IMO it was not really an issue. The ending (last couple of minutes) was a little disappointing. It seemed like it was thrown together as an afterthought.
Of course, I have nothing to compare it to. I just hope my second book is just as good.
I enjoyed this book, but was also troubled by the introduction of a character that didn't appear to be part of the plot, but rather a setup for the sequel (unless I missed something). Reminiscent of the old movie serials- get them excited waiting for the next installment.
Wow absolutely amazing. This was my first Audible ebook and I couldn't put it down (so to speak or is that hear). The Characters were so believable and the storyline was truely unique and kept me wanting more. I am now craving more, so I'm back to the searching of my next Audible ebook.
I listened to the first 30 minutes in disbelief at the poorly written characters and plot. I almost stopped listening and even spent some time through the audible site to see if they had a return policy (they don't). I decided to give the book a second chance - big mistake and a huge waste of time. Another reviewer wrote that this is campy, and they were right. At times, I felt like that silly boardgame "clue" had been brought to life, and they cast McGuyver as the lead character. Beware! Cliches at every corner!
