I love this book. I love the radio show. I love the tv series. There is nothing about this story I do not like. I might be a tiny bit biased , but you've got to admit, it's brilliant. Buy it. You'll love it.
No - they're equally fantastic in slightly different ways.
It defies comparison. But don't panic.
This is a good books for clearing out the seat next to you on the bus. There's nothing quite like the snort of laughter that escapes after Slartibartfast announces that he loves fjords because they give a lovely baroque feeling to a continent for getting rid of gum-chewing cowards who don't want to sit next to the local nutter.
"One of the greatest stories ever told!!"
One of the best stories ever to come out of the great publishing houses on ursa minor even your white mice will like this one!
"never gets old"

"very good listen"
Draws you in and takes you on the adventure. The full cast makes it feel more like an audio play but well worth the listen.

"Great series, shame about the sound quality"
This is a great piece of radio, but the sound quality of this download is terrible. All in mono and badly compressed.
"good, but wilodly, and greedily overpriced"
yes, it is English irony at its best, but overpriced by American greed
pete rjones' wonderfully ironic voice.
the book?- laugh............ the greed of amazon, cry.
While this says unabridged, it is actually a collection of the radio show. While this isn;t a bad thing as the radio show is very good, i was expecting an unabridged reading of the novel. I suppose i should have read the details more carefully.
"Dramatisation at its best"
I remember hearing this on the radio and then reading the books. As funny as ever. My children, now grown up, are enjoying this as much and I.
