I love this book. I read it years ago. so the audio version was a refresher for me. I found, this time, that it reads more like a guide or instruction set to be referred to on an as needed basis. revelation upon revelation...chapter after chapter.
Fifteen years later, the book has a new meaning. Although the performance is good, there are some editing artifacts "please change the CD" that are unacceptable.
It was a struggle to finish, but it was a great book with some very good points. It was just a little all over the place.
During my child hood and school days I have heard about this book a number of times. Never understood the relevance and importance so clearly until I bought and heard the audio book after all these years. This book should be part of academic education. This book has the solution for everything. How better you get in life is based on how much you are aligned to the principles explained in this book.
I feel like I have learned lessons I would have learnt in 80 years by reading this book. Some of the habits like being Proactive was already being applied in my life, which I learned by my own trial and errors. It would have taken me decades to learn the other 6 habits. Thank you Steven for giving humanity this book which will guide us to become the best versions of ourselves.
I'm a Real Estate Agent, and it is important for me to learn from the experts and keep myself motivated and make my days count!
Awesome reading, great teaching! Anyone who wants to grow and expand his knowledge about dealing with people needs to read this book! I recommend it!
so it's a number of great Concepts that are definitely worth looking into. I appreciate the points and subject matter which is why I wish I just had the book and used it as a reference. it went on for forever, much like listening to an unabridged version of the encyclopedia. it's written almost like a research paper with a number of personal points... Which I can only assume as an academic that is his style. I have the book and I will keep the book to reference. it's not something you want to listen to
