I love books!
Wow, Excellent! My first Lisa Gardner listten was "Hide" and that was good as well. I blew right through this one. I'm hooked now, I'm a bonafide Lisa Gardner fan. "The Neighbor" kep me guessing throughout as to whodunit.
This was one of the best books I've listened to yet. I loved the narration and the story line constantly kept me guessing. I have already recommended this book to my friends!!
My first by this author - Really well done, engaging characters, and excellent narrators. Kept me on the edge of my seat right to the satisfying end. Downloading another Gardner as I write this.
This was an excellent book. The narrators were very good and it was hard to put down. I would highly recommend it as a great listen!!
Say something about yourself!
I'm pleased to see that the several other reviewers of "The Neighbor" enjoyed the book so much. I found it to be a crashing bore. All of the characters just felt so damned sorry about themselves that their whining simply drove all interest and involvement straight away. I finally started skipping along just to see how the "plot" worked out. I should not have bothered.
I love all genres of books. However, when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!
Suspenseful- kept my interest until the middle where it became repetitious in plot and character development. I learned some interesting facts about investigation work, computers and child abuse. The resolution came suddenly, in the last five minutes, and all too neatly tied up in a bow. Still, kept me walking at a great pace when listening on my hikes
