I started the book three times. It was weird. Finally stuck with it and it was funny. Great book and so are the following books. Highly recommended.

    "The Color of Magic"

I've never laughed so much over a story as I have with Terry Pratchett's 'The Color of Magic'. Narrator Nigel Planer is a master of this art! He makes the characters come alive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    "Un-deniably Funny"

I started this series because I listened to a sample of a book with the #28 on the cover. The story sounded intriguing. Liking to start with the first book in a series to understand the characters I sought out the first book in the Diskworld series. I was not disappointed with the search. I have not laughed so hard listening to a book in a long time. How does one man produce so much comedy in such a short time?

    "Very well narrated!"

Entertaining story, narrator does a great job, but the audio quality is a little poor. The volume level changes erratically, and some sections are fuzzy sounding. Still an enjoyable listen.

    "The Colour of Magic"

An amusing title that chronicles the misadventures of two unlikely characters the luckless failed wizard Rincewynd and a tourist with a seeming deathwish, in the fanciful land of Diskworld.

    "Stick with Wee Free Men"

After enjoying the Wee Free Men series, I had very high hopes for this series. Audio quality is dreadful and it's just not funny. I could only last about two hours before I gave up. Maybe it get's better, but I'm not going to waste any more time on this book.

"Enjoyable, but Anti-Theft Message is Unnecessary"

I enjoy Terry Pratchett in any form, but I won't be purchasing any more audiobooks of his work. The anti-theft message in the beginning is unnecessary and quite insulting. Thank you, Mr. Pratchett, for assuming that I must have dubious and illegal intentions for your audiobooks. I have an Audible membership and I love it. I'm more than happy to pay for my audiobooks. But I won't be purchasing any more by any author who feels it necessary to accuse their listeners of stealing in the first 60 seconds.

    "Wonderful!"

This book was really amazing. It is read by the author and he does an exceptional job of interpreting his own intent :)
This book kept me awake and laughing through many long commutes, and I rushed to get the second in the series (which I also loved!!)

    I highly recommend it!
