Daniel Silva has done it again, Gabriel Allon has done it again. Love the book, have loved all the books in this series.
could not put it down. Thats how operates work. You never know what will happen or where it will take place. The countries involved. Thank you for another wonderful read. carolm20009
I felt like the story was missing the last two chapters. Totally unsatisfying ending to a great story until then.
Thanks to Stephen for mentioning that there is actually a new part two that is extended. A truly needed correction.
I have found the books of Daniel Silva do be superior in every possible way; from the careful delineation and development of characters to the pacing of a plot of exquisite subtlety and complexity. While giving readers the security of characters they know and appreciate, he masterfully brings them to new levels of excitement and release. Phil Gigante is quite simply the most talented performer within this challenging discipline. His creative development of characters through the technical mastery of voice, diction, and pacing, he acts out the full emotional ranges of his characters. Whether the voice is male or female, Russian, Israeli, English or American --each character is immediately genuine and present. Frequently, as he draws you into the action, Mr. Gigante is able to achieve something actually quite rare--true emotional character interaction. I used to alternate between reading the text at home and listening to the audio version during lengthy commutes. Such is the magnetic quality of Mr.Gigantes' performance, that I confess choosing to turn on the audio as I read. I look forward to more...more from Mr. Silva and Gabriel Allon and more from the artistry of Mr. Gigante. THANK YOU BOTH.
Very good story with a great ending. I hope this won't be the last we hear of Gabrial Alon. All the main characters are in this book and made the story more engaging. You won't be disappointed.
