Hello, I'm Adrian. I'm engaged to Nichole Braddock and love books! Though I don't have much time to sit and read so I listen... But audio books whole new universe! They make old books new and new books classics! I myself get into some moods and don't write the greatest reviews. Forgive me. I like to review books but it just feels too much like work to me :p
Amazing how his books all seem to have one idea. Or maybe one big group of ideas that end up taking many forms throughout all his books. Ender's Game was the first book of his I read, like many others, and ever sense I've somehow found him to be one of my favorite authors. You may read one of his books and hate it. But if you can read many of them then you may change your thoughts of that first book you hated!
Sigh...I could not even finish this book. I knew I was in trouble when the main character is a man who grows breasts. This renders him not human in the eyes of the culture. This could have functioned as a commentary on our society but it doesn't read that way. As the book slides into racism I gave up on it. There might be some interesting ideas in this book, but I did not feel that it was worth wading through a sewer to find them. Now I know to avoid this author.
Main problem is the reader. He's boring - I couldn't make it through the whole book.
