I read this business title in hard copy on a recent business trip and found it a useful skim. Much like all the Lee Iaccoca books and lectures that we suffered through in the 80s and 90s, this man is a (very successful) gas-bag. Pick it up for a quick skim at best, there are some good career lessons and caveats in the book.
Quite nice book.
It's chapters division and clear speech make it easy to the listener to enviaion what is said and for what reason.
Even for non-businessmen/women, this book gives helpful insight on managing anu kind of relationship,
I've always had a passion to win as an associate, team leader, and middle manager. This read left me incredibly thirsty - loved listening to Jack talk about his philosophies. Business is a fun game - one that important written, and unwritten, rules... this book sums it up.
Great book for all the stuff middle to upper level management encounters. I actually enjoyed Jack's narration.
This is my first Jack Welch book and I learned a lot from this guy. I manage a small business and I was able to implement a few things right away, it also got me thinking about a few things. This is a great book with lots of useful information from a CEO that has proved he knows what he is taking about.
This book put agendas and personnel into simple perspective.
I would recommend this book to Executives trying to build a team or someone just starting their career.
I like the fact that this book had a scenario for each topic discussed. The way it was explained could actually be visualized.
I recommend this book to anyone who desires to be an entrepreneur or in any type of leadership role.
