None , slow and boring topic
Characters are okay
In my younger days, I loved all of robin cooks books, this was bad. I guess maturity changes book likes and dislikes. Save your money.

This is the third book in a row I’ve read that has left me with mixed reviews.
My opinion of “Critical” is exactly the same as my review for “Crashers” which was: I liked the Air Crash Investigation angle, yet hated the Irish Terrorists angle.
In this case I would have to say: I liked the Mysterious Death Investigation angle, yet hated the Mobsters Bent on Revenge angle.
Still, in general I would say it was a good read. This was the 4th book in the “Jack & Laurie” series that I’ve read – out of order. I read Book 8, then 9, and 10, and back to 7 with this one. (1 through 6 are not available in Audible).
I’ll definitely read Book 11 if/when it comes out.
this book will do in a pinch if you're driving from NYC to LA, or stuck in the airport, etc., outside of those type situations, the book is very average and certainly not memorable
Awesome. Love it, even the descriptive chatter, definitely added color to the suspense. i love everything Robin Cook and was a little concerned considering the length of this series but it was Awesome as usual!!
