Definitely! Dean Koontz is a great story teller and this audio version was enjoyable.
It kept me listening all the way through!
4/5; 4 stars; A-
Dean Koontz has been hit and miss for me but this book was a definite hit. He manages to mix good mystery with a bit of paranormal and come out with a kind of weird but compelling story. I appreciate an author who can write a good standalone book and that is what this one is. I recommend it.
Christopher Lane was an excellent narrator.
I am a salesperson on the road everyday, mother of 2 grown children. Happily married
Koontz out did himself. I was listening every chance I got. Suspense laughing crying lots of feelings in this book
I have a long commute. I Like Spy Novels, Mysteries, thrillers, Conservative philosophy, and anything interesting and read well.
Loved the story. The narrator, Christopher Lane , filled in many roles seamlessly. I really felt in the story. Dean Koontz and Chris will be searched again.
Maybe I outgrew him? His characters are so flat and stereotypical that I honestly have a hard time identifying with them or empathizing with them. This was a predictable story about time travel that relied on a paradox-busting cheat to evade what could have been a powerful ending. It's no 11-22-63, that's for sure.
