As a DOD aircraft accident investigator I found this book so compelling that I finished it in one day. Great storyline, well read, factually accurate and easy to follow.
There was nothing that I didn't like about this book. I wish I could forget it all and have the experience of listening to it all over tomorrow.
I really haven't listened to many legal thrillers but I'm hooked now. It was just the right amount of suspense, action and intelligent intrigue.
My first by this narrator but not my last. He was perfect as the protagonist.
I was hooked from the first page and it never let up.
The only thing I wished for were about 3 more chapters to expound on the ending a little more. It was all great but it ended very abruptly for my taste.
I found this to be an excellent story. The further into it the more riveting it became. It has moments where I actually felt myself tense up and moments where I laughed out loud.
I enjoy this narrator too. He did one other audio book that I have listened to.
The best stories are not mere tellings: They are full spectrum experiences.
It was more like forced time spent. I know I'm the odd person out on this one, but this just did not hold my attention. I normally enjoy court procedurals and action, however I did not find the story believable.
This is my first book by James W. Huston.
All the scenes with Mike Nolan's private investigator were pretty entertaining and kept the story moving.
I didn't enjoy the book enough to see the movie.
the narrator and the flow of the story.
the ending conclussion
none , first one.
no worked better over time as I would drive and listen in the car
This was a barn burner!!! A very exciting book and incredibly interesting. I couldn't wait to drive so I could get back to it. This is a great author.
