Yes, I have. It is soothing and I got a really good nights sleep, and this is rare for me.
His other books are equally as good. His voice is soothing and I am usually 'out' by the end of the first track.
I wish there was a way to do a continuous loop without playing the Audible intro and ending. It would make these books so much better, in my opinion.
Great Audio recording. I have been listening to hypnosis for a while. I find myself coming back to this recording specifically. In comparison to others I've tried, this one seems more pleasant. i find myself following along, relaxing and falling asleep quickly.
I suppose perhaps this kind of thing helps some people go to sleep, perhaps the same kind of people that can be "hypnotized" on stage at the state fair too. A MUCH better book to put you to sleep is "Atlas Shrugged"., that's what I'm using now, plus it's 60 hours long.
Hey Hey Hey
It does the trick. No more ambien or valium necessary. I don't know how it ends because I am out about 10 minutes into the program. He could be subliminally selling me lawnmowers for all I know after that. But whatever, I am sleeping like a baby.
It also helps to train mindfulness and the ability to deeply focus. Highly recommend
**Beware that there are some grammatical errors, not horrible, but they are enough to shake me awake. However, not for long.
I'm glad to have purchased this. Glenn Harrold's voice is so soothing and relaxing. This really helped me get the sleep I was so desperate for. Thanks Glenn.
The guys voice sounds like one of th characters from Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Its really not relaxing as its abrasive and his pronunciation is horrible. I keep thinking that I'm being read to by a british car mechanic.
"deepuh n deepuh"
"won ta- oo tree"
"wat yore ONconcious mind knows youre ONconcious mind remimbas"
Also some of the parts are down right creepy.
Worked really great for the first couple of months. Narrator is soothing and I fell asleep within 15-20 minutes of turning it on. Never got to the second part. After a few weeks though, I started anticipating what he'd say next, and was more focused on the words than in doing as I was told. I only use it now when I absolutely cannot get to sleep. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
I love this program. Nice sound effects-birds quietly chirping, guy telling you to relax etc... There are actually two tracks on the album-the deep sleep meditation and the lucid dreams meditation. It would be nice if audible or the publisher would separate them. Currently they play as one long track, so if you don't have a timer on your listening device you have to be awake to stop the program after track 1 or hope you sleep through track 2. Otherwise I'm very happy and would recommend!
There is something about his aussie accent that lulls my left brain into letting go. I find it a bit musically over produced, but I suppose that's just me. Did it put me to sleep? Yes. What more could anyone ask for.
