Having used many different hypnosis/subliminal recordings over the years, I was very disappointed at the POOR SOUND QUALITY of this recording, even in the Enhanced format. This Audible re-recording is in MONO, with a highly compressed dynamic range. Glenn Harrold's voice sounded like it was coming from a tin can somewhere in the center of my brain, and had none of the wonderful "spacious 3-dimensional sound" that is in the original recording (which, for comparison, I found and sampled on Glenn Harrold's own website). Then, there is that jolting, abrasive "THIS... is Audible" sentence at the beginning, which starts a relaxation/sleep audio off on the wrong foot to begin with. A shame that what seems to be a good session has been trashed in the remix. On the other hand, if you personally care little about sound quality, you might be okay with this one and find it useful, as other reviewers have.
Absolutely Brilliant. My mind and body seems to love it because I can never get to the end. When I wake up in the morning, I feel like I slept for days and feel very rejuvenated.

I've tried out 5 relaxation/sleep audios and this is my absolute favorite. It's been about 2 weeks now, and I am to the point where I am sleeping peacefully before I get to the end of the track. BTW, this CD comes with two tracks--to be alternated--or not if one is preferred. If you are having a hard time getting to sleep--mind racing, restless, etc.--this audio book is very soothing & relaxing. I would highly recommend giving it a try.

I have terrible bouts of insomnia. I use other hypnosis tracks and like them very much, but I wanted something specifically for insomnia, and this definitely delivered.
This track stands out because there wasn't anything that that woke me up. In particular, there is no "THIS IS AUDIBLE" announcement at the end. There is nothing worse for an insomniac than being woken up immediately after falling asleep.
