"Pretty Good"
I like this book but it was not Ted Dekker's best. I would recommend the Circle, the lost books and Thr3e. Those are my favorites
"BREATHLESS"
I love Dekker's book, and have read or listened to a great majority of them; but I must confess this was the best one EVER! Any further said would destroy the magnificence of this book. I highly recommend it!
Born again
"Riveting!"
I actually haven't read the book, but boy the audio is incredible!
Choosing a favorite character is a tough call to make. They all have a certain 'depth' to them.
Daniel
I was particularly moved by the sacrifice and love that drove Heather and Jessica.
This riveting tale kept me at the edge of my seat and gave me reason to ponder. The birth place of evil is many a time innocuous-or perhaps, appears so to untrained eyes.
"FABULOUS!!"
I couldn't put this book down. this has to be one of Ted Dekker's best works yet!
"Very thought provoking"
I'm not sure I could call this book enjoyable. It was very intense and thought provoking. It made one think about the nature of evil and how we relate to it. Dekker is very talented in that he combined both a riveting story and a treatise on evil in one book.
The narrator was very good. I enjoyed his portrayal very much
"Nicely disturbing book"
I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in spiritual thrillers. I loved the set up of the book. It went from a news reporters account of the story to the events of the story. Really good fiction.
"Dekker delivers another masterful thriller."
I loved how the story played back and forth between the ongoing FBI investigation and a future news story about the life and creation of the serial killer. It was a clever way to give background facts and even build some sympathy for the killer. The ending twist involving his sister was brilliant. I didn't see it coming.
This book was a challenge and the narrator did a masterful job of creating diverse and some truly creepy voices.
"A Little Religiously over the Top for me"
Now that is a question I cannot answer. I am not a writer & the book already exists.
I guess the brother & sisters relationship
Yes he did
I don't think so.
