The content is great. Allison does a great job of interwining good information with great storytelling. I really enjoyed the stories and found her approach to be very genuine and heartfelt.

Yes, absolutely. She is definitely an expert.

Clearly she is an experienced Medium who cares about her clients.

Her delivery was REALLLY monitone and boring (sometimes quite annoying) but she eventually grew on me.

After listening to this book, I listened to another with another narrator and I like this better. Again, it was challenging at first but now I feel this is more genuine.

I don't want to give too much away but I liked the part where Allison talks about visualizing a deceased loved one that you trust holding a basket with a smile on their face. You are to put any and all problems in the basket because they will and want to help. This helps us to let go of the problem and stop agonizing over it. She even described putting a whole person she was having a difficult time with in the infinite basket her deceased father was holding. She also talks about visualizing a white or green light in your heart to help heal emotional wounds too.

There are too many good stories but I liked hearing about the relationship between Allison and her father throughout the book.

I like her spunky red-headed attitude and how she described that when she comes back even if she dies with gray hair she will most likely show herself with red hair because that is a big part of who she is.

There were so many good parts! The story of the son who died young and his mother who was having a difficult time with his passing was very moving.

Allison Dubois and her family are a blessing to the world. I'm sure it is not easy to have your family and life depicted on television and live in the public eye but I know there are many people who have benefited from the knowledge Allison shares. The fairly accurate depiction of the loving relationship between Allison and her husband, Joe, on the show Medium and mentioned in this book is also a great example to others. :)

This is her best book - I found it really endearing. People tell their stories of communicating with their loved ones in their own words. It is a really wonderful read!

Allison's audio books are so much better because they are narrated by her and you really feel what she is saying with true meaning.

So much of what she says happens after death and her connection with spirits, I truly wish I could get a session with her.

I hope she writes more books after her travels.

I really enjoy the television show "Medium" which is based on experiences by this author. I made several attempts with this book and found it very difficult to maintain my attention. Reminded me of astrology readings and I am sadly dissappointed.

We loved this audio book! It is narrated by Allision Dubois herself, with and intro by her husband, Joe, and you can hear so much more through their own voices telling the story. Allison takes care to convey her message clearly and with heart, that the ones we love never leave us, that they are interested in our lives and want to help. She helps us understand how they communicate with us and how we can communicate with them as well. I just lost my Grandmother recently, and with the help of this book, I feel her close to me now and feel we are continuing our relationship and friendship on an even better footing than before. This book is invaluable to those of us who have loved ones we never want to lose!

Having lost a loved one prior to purchasing this audio book, I now feel totally comforted that he is not gone forever and that he is truelly in a happy, lovely & better place both mentally & physically. The author is amazing and I trust everything she says! She has a beautiful, open, honest, heartfelt way about her. I was very skeptical, but after listening to her, I just know she is all about the truth. I now live knowing that my loved one has only left the earth, not left forever and I will see him again when I leave the earth too, or sooner if I become more spirtual myself and learn how to communicate with him. He is most probably with me right now in spirit! It all sounds cooky & weird, but after listenning to this audio, you won't think so. I am also less afraid of dying in general, which is also a great comfort to carry throughout life.

I found this audiobook to be very informative. Liked her thinking?/info much better than most fundamentalist churches - more accepting. Finding out the spirit world is like this seems actually better.

Ms. DuBois' style is informal & sometimes she does repeat herself but that didn't really bother me; seems more real & "down to earth". She does mention the TV show Medium but since I'm a fan, I found all of it very interesting.

I recommend the book highly to anyone who has known someone that has committed suicide as she clearly explains it and I think the book would help the surviving family/friends. In fact I am going to buy the book for someone in this exact position because I know they don't like to listen to audio; however, I do believe hearing her voice would make everything be understood better than just reading the book.

5-stars! A great one especially if you're into trying to learn/understand the spirit world.

Being a fan of the tv show "Medium", I was thrilled to find out the real Allison DuBois has written a couple of books, and even happier to find out they were available in audio form. Her experiences are fascinating, interesting, will make you cry and make you smile. I found her to be refreshingly honest, non judgemental and fun to listen to. A couple of other reviewers state she shouldn't read her own books as her voice isn't right for it. To each their own, but for me, her voice is fine. If you are on a spiritual journey, or just really enjoy information about the other side, you'll enjoy this book.
