Every time I listen to Wayne Dyer I learned something new.
“As you think so shall you be” Mr. Wayne gave these 7 well known words a clearer meaning.
Great information. Good story teller. Author passionate about his subject!
He talked about how we define ourselves with our past which becomes our "story." then we carry it around like a heavy sack of manure and occasionally put our hands in and smear it all over us, and wonder why we stink! So True!
Only on PBS.
He taught how to embrace our story in order to let it go. I got quite a lot from this. One small bit I will share is having a late baby at 42 yrs. old, C- Section. I have said for 19 years now, "I was a size 8 before I had my late baby at 42." That was not only my story but also my reality. I have decided to change my story to "I worked hard to reach my optimum weight for my health, so I can spend as many years as possible with my girls, especially my late baby at 42."

I like to listen to Wayne Dyer from time to time, and a little goes a long way. What he talks about is certainly true for him, and much of what he says may apply to most people. He is a very charismatic speaker, which makes him very convincing, and much can be learned from his style. Much of what he says rings true to me, other stuff just so-so, but maybe I'm not at that level of enlightenment. Whatevs.
I have just listened to the first part of this audio and I really liked the material. Very inspirational. I can't wait to listen to the whole audio. Worth the money !
Although 4 talks are contained on this audio, there is some redundance and, at times, Dyer's train of thought seems to wander perilously. A pleasant voice and nice ideas, overall. Still I wonder if Dr. Dyer regrets his sarcasm when dealing with a cold sufferer now that he has had a mild heart attack and angioplasty.
It appears to me that my once favourite author has lost the plot and is now just cashing in on anything, almost all his current work is advertising for another book, and he has become such a bragger and echotistical you would almost call him a hypocrite. Change your thoughts change your life was my favourite of his but now you will find him clutching at straws in anything after that. Sad really.
