Yes. It was a good mystery story. It kept me guessing.
Where Did All the Blood Come From? Eve Dallas investigates.
I'm not a fan of these short ones but I feel compelled to buy them anyway, especially if I don't have anything else to listen to and need my Dallas fix. This was ok. Not bad, not great but it will help if you're jonesing for a Dallas/Roarke mystery.
This was not as good as the others. But I love Eve and her family and friends. Wish Eve get pregnant and learn to love how a child should be loved. Peabody and Ian get married and start family too.
First of all PeaBODY was pronounced PeaBUDDY through the whole book. Also the narrator made Peabody sound stupid and hickish. I love the books and will continue reading but I wont purchase another on audio with this same narrator she was horrible, and didnt do justice to the characters.
I am writing this review after listening to about 5 minutes of the book. The reader is terrible. The voice she has given Peabody is awful and she calls her "Peabuddy". There is no flow to the words; she reads it in short declaritive bursts. As a veteran reader of JD Robb and Nora Roberts, this style doesn't fit. I know I'll love the story if I can stand to listen to it. Find a new reader for this series. Please.
