Librarian and self-confessed book addict.
The series has built to this climactic moment.
After months of increasing paranormal activity, summer has finally arrived in Hawkins Hollow--which means that the Seven (7 days/nights of terror from an ancient demon) is almost upon them again. Having seen their friends pair off recently (Cal with Quinn, Fox with Layla), the remaining members of the demon-fighting squad (Gage Turner and Cybil Kinski) have vowed to keep their hands off each other. But that might be a lost cause, if the future-visions both have experienced are at all accurate. And if their hookup is inevitable, what does that say about Gage's vision of his own fate?
I like all of them.
It was fine, but as noted below, he was the 3rd narrator in this trilogy. I'd have preferred to have one consistent narrator for all the books.
It's a good book, but too long by far to listen to all at once.
A negative to this trilogy is that each book in it is narrated by a different reader (male, female, male, respectively). Little to no effort was made to keep the "sound" of each character's speech at all consistent from one reader to the next.
i loved this book , wouldnt put it down till i finished it, cant wait for more of her great books.
cofussed in okc
I love Nora Roberts books. I was disappointed in this 3 book series because it was so similar in theme, character. outcome of good vs evil.
In both books they have black magic that is good or bad depending on who is using it. I know Nora can come up with more instead of rerunning the same. I hate to waste money on that.
Blood Brothers - The Hollow - The Pagan Stone, each brings you closer to the characters, closer to the truth. You become invested in the outcome. From start to finish you're there's no disappointing. Nora is clever and creative. The stories are sexy and enthralling.
This final installment was my favorite. The narration was great (except Cal's voice) and the story is strong; I felt a lot of emotion with this book (the other two fell a little short, especially in the first book's narration). I recommend checking this on out if you've stuck it out this far. :)
This the final book in the series was good. The narrations was good but I really wished all 3 books would have been done by Phil Gigante. I would read them again. Good entertainment.
Can't sit still or stay focused long enough to read a book. Audible is the only way I will give myself the opportunity to enjoy fiction.
Phil Gigante should have narrated the whole series.
No. Im returning the book.
Did not enjoy the last 2 books with their narration
