I have listened and enjoyed many audible books. this one was suberbly acted and the best so far.
King Arthur legends are great, but can take time getting into. My eleven year old and I listened to this over a couple of days to get the broad strokes. Now he is interested in some of the individual legends.
I am an Australian woman who enjoys reading many different styles of books, from history to sci fi and mystery to poetry.
I was so disappointed. I did not look at the length of this book and am seriously disappointed. I know its my own fault. If Hansel and Gretel was "a couple of kids get taken into the woods by their hen-pecked father and get taken by a witch. They escape and get rid of the evil step mother and all live happily ever after" then this is the story of King Arthur. I remember an epic tale. Maybe I was wrong but there is no flesh to this story.
