I lost track of points to take away from the material. I felt like I was waiting for examples to finish but they weren't.
I remember reading the book which I enjoyed a lot. Listening though seems a little time wasting.
I have not read the print version. However, it's narrated by Andrew MacMillan. That's enough to have it way better.
Not even sure, it's kind of one of a kind.
The start of the audiobook, literally right to the end.
There were many, too many to count. Too many bookmarks just to give myself inspiration on the daily.
You don't need to read this review to buy this book, there are already dozens of others that'll agree and say the same thing. My god, it's simply amazing. The narrator? one of the best I've heard. And to be honest? at the end of the day it's all tips that you know. The best part of it? They're tips that you've forgotten, or don't nearly apply enough. this book is more than a book, it really feels like a course. It challenges you to go out and apply the principles in the book, and did I mention how amazing the narrator is? Yeah.
Buy this book. You won't regret it.
The principles in the book are true and helpful. The music, audio, and examples used in the book did feel old and a little out dated.
I think the information shared in the book should be followed. It should be taught to children at early ages but our world is unfortunately moving toward metrics to drive changes in attitude and behaviors not the things taught in the book like empathy, open mindness, and humility.
We need more leaders in the world that are humble and kind. That's what this book is teaching!
This is a book I always meant to read. Well I finally did and it stood up to the reviews. unfortunately the information in the book has almost become common knowledge do to the proliferation of the book. but still a great reminder of all the skills the author brought to light. it also contains some unexpected entertainment elements.
