This is one of the best I have listened to in my library so far.
My favorite character is of course Bourne. Since he is always a target for death by the united states government, it is nice to see him stick it to them, When he saves central intelligence from being destroyed, he doesn't want the credit from the people he never trusted.
His reading gives you a new perspective on the novel. He does this by providing a middle eastern, and British accent when they are called for.
My only reaction was laughter at the central intelligence director when he has to depend on Bourne, treats him like an agent, and then puts a sanction on him.
I would recommend all of the books in the series.
A brutal waste of time and money. Absolutely unbelievable at times and so far away from the original Bourne concept that it should be illegal to say it is part of the series.
Started slow and I was surprised by the sound effects. Once I got used to them it was fine. I wish they would have Bourne rest instead of continuing to fight even when half dead. I get that he is supposed to be a super agent but he is still human.
Yes, but only after reading reviews well after release
Nothing. Not as good a Jason Bourne, Definitely not the performance quality of Scott Brick, and obviously an attempt to perpetuate a brand rather than continue develop characters.
He was boring and just not the quality linguist that Scott Brick is. Jason Bourne lost man points because of the narrator.
Yes, but like the first 4 books, it will probably be a completely rewritten story and plot and not follow the book much at all.
I'm sure it's too late to save the brand from the cheap production course that it is on. Best now left up the screen writers and hope for the silver screen to make all of the money. Hope Ludlam got paid well, because his franchise is cheapened by the current format and production qualities of books 5 and on. Even book 4 was disappointing, but not as bad as 5.
I am just feeding the "Jason Bourne"obsession, but this is not that engaging.
This is slightly better than the previous Bourne Legacy.
Mr Davidson did a good job with the text he had.
I would watch it on a wet Saturday from home, but this wouldn't draw me to the theaters.
I enjoy listening to great detective mysterie & also great thrillers. I enjoy books also by Vince Flynn, David Baldaci including assasins.
The best one so far of course not counting the ones introducing Jason Bourne.
The plot keeps you on edge because you didn't know which way it would go and if Jason was on the right course with the right person.
This is the first Jeremy Davidson's I have listened to. He was good.
No, but once I listen to a 1/4 of it, I wanted to finish.
I am going to listen to the next one. I hope the author keeps them coming.
I loved the Bourne movies, but this audible was hard to follow. I had to keep going back over some of the recording to stay focused. It was like having three or four books in one. That style is not bad,but I had a very hard time following them. After a few weeks I gave it up.
'I found this book difficult to get into. I finally finished it but I was disappointed in it. The plot seemed to have too many subplots and it was hard to keep track of them all.
I love books a lot
By far the best of the bourne books, Eric Van Lustbader did a great job of telling the story of The Bourne Betrayal.
