I've read a lot of diferent seires, but this is one of my faverotes. It's one of the ones that I'm always anticipate to see the next one. I recomend this to any vampire fan. I will not beleave that Ward won't continue the series. if he doesn't, he'll leave a lot of fans heart broken.

Rehvenge's story is one of my favorites. He is a very smart and clever business man but also one who has to pay for who/what he is or so the princess thinks. When he becomes more involved with Ehlena, things begin to change. We follow the emotional up and downs to finely find Rehvenge and Ehlena happy in the end.
Other then Doc Jane Ehlena is my favorite female so far. She is kind smart and goes after what she wants. Her character is well developed and not irritating, as some of them can be.

As all of Ward's books are this one is long. Sometimes I found myself impatient for the end. I was unable to bring myself to skip ahead tho.

I would use a credit on this one. To costly otherwise.

The stories get better from book to book, but this book has horrible editing. Clips are merged that makes the flow of the story irritating at times when clips run together without a pause. Other than that I love the stories and getting to know the brotherhood. The first books were slow, but get much better. This is a series you definitely want to read/listen to in order.

This is my second go around reading the BDB. I loved the storyline from the very beginning. I'll probably listen to them again as I just can't get enough of those brothers!

I liked Rev's reluctency to believing that he can be loved, especially by a woman of worth. He believes himself to be totally unworthy and that no one would want him. Though he is plagued by thoughts of one day loving someone and that someone loving him in return.

Jim is great. He can really peg the character's personalities.

Most memorable would be Ehlena. She is very hard on herself, always putting others first. She also feels as though she is unworthy of true happiness, though a small part of her would relish it.

J.R. Ward is so totally awesome! When I read her books, I want to be in them, participate in them...be one of the characters. The world in her books could actually be real. I'd like to thank her for sharing!

While Lover Avenged focused mostly on Rehvenge, there seems to be a lot of avenging going on in here, and it seems to only end with the promise of more too come. There is so much going on in this book, it makes you not want to put it down!!

Basically...Rehvenge falls in love, deals with loss, and faces off with his biggest secret. Wrath tries to amend his relationship with Beth and finds he must cope with the biggest challenge of his life. Torment is self destructive, and you begin to think he is a lost cause. And John...he seems to go off the deep end after getting what he wants, or does he? And that is just the tip of the ice burg!

Once again my head is spinning, and I can't wait for the next one!! They just keep getting better, and this one is no exception!

Complicated, enticing and exciting. An intense story.

When Elena rescues Revenge and when she inherets the wealth from a thief.

Revenge is my favorite in this book. He is very protective and guilty about who he is and yet he still allows himself to fall in love.

Rhage one of my favorite characters in this series. He learned how to love and take care of others. He loves to eat and appreciates all that he has and all that he has learned from Mary.

Another great series, but a serious ones. The author is thorough in her stories and characters. Once you start on this journey you will not be able to stay away. The story telling is very open minded.
