I waded thru 6 hrs of this book only because of the narrator. I skipped the next 5 hrs and nothing much had changed. I skipped to the last 37 mins. Finally Louise got the message. The biggest problem to me is that both the hero and the heroine totally change personalities when they actually meet as themselves.
I was born with a reading list, so long , I will never finish.
Charles d'Harcourt, was written so well . He felt like a true 3D character ,loved following him though story as he comes to identify his own character flaws
Louise Vandermeer made me angry as she was so obtuse
Could not live without my 2 dogs, humor, books, books and more books ( wishlist is almost endless) oh yeah, I try myself at gardening..lol
I love both Author and Narrator. Great story, but thought the second part was a bit boring.
I have read this one several times, it's a definite keeper. I was hesitant to buy it as some of the other reviewers didn't like the narrator but I thought she did just fine. The characters came across well, I thought.
I am a huge fan of romances and happy endings. I like books that take me away from everyday life and into the land of romance, some adventure and of course happy endings.
This book moves very slow I love the narrator she is on of my favorites but even she couldn't help the pace of this book.
Judith Ivory is an incredible author. I have been so impressed with the character development and unique story lines of all her books. This one is one of my favorites.
