I love Eric Jerome Dickey's book and this one was not disappointing. Unrealistic maybe, but good reading none the less. One good advice-Get your cold shower ready.
I stumbled upon Eric Jerome Dickey and his work about four years ago; I thought I was getting a light summer romance novel. Well I got so much more!!! I became an instant fan and then read everything that I could find and now I can not wait until his newest creations are released on audio.
Having twin brothers featured gaves this book the Cain and Abel contrast which kept me reading and provided very interesting twists.
I love all genres of books. However, when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!
Portions of the story were hot...very. (yes, as in Zane, Noire, Mary B Morrison hot) But parts of the book made you say 'huh?'. I was not sure how some of it was tied into the story so it seemed a little all over the place. The ending was not to my liking. It starts off a page turner but parts of it could have possibly been edited so that it flowed better.
I loved it! seductive. .erotic....a dream come true for many women down to the married man....no strings just fun. mmmmmm. BUT, there are consequences tho with married men....
steamy at parts but overall not much happened! I would choose any Zane novel over this because at least that would turn me on a bit more if erotica was what I wanted. I probably wont care to read the sequel unless I'm super bored.
I have NEVER been disappointed by any E.J. Dickey books but this one did it!! The story may have gotten better but I couldn't get past chapter one. Listening to each and every work described with at least 3 examples was exhausting. Just TELL THE STORY! Every word didn't need it's own story. Sooooo disappointed!!
By simply telling the story without so much drama.
